Effective May 17, 2026
- Use, copy, and modify the Template on machines you personally operate.
- Build and ship unlimited commercial or non-commercial Applications on top of it.
- Publish those Applications publicly - the compiled, bundled, running form is yours to distribute.
- Keep your license forever. It's perpetual; no renewal fees.
- Redistribute, resell, sublicense, lease, or share the Template source - original or modified.
- Publish the source (or a modified fork) in any public or semi-public repo, gist, or paste site.
- Use the Template, in any form, to train, fine-tune, evaluate, or augment any ML model or AI system.
- Remove or obscure the copyright notice, this license, or any attribution.
- Transfer the license to another person or company - it dies with you.

Grant of license
Subject to these terms, you (the "Licensee") are granted a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to use, copy, and modify the Template, and to incorporate it (original or modified) into commercial and non-commercial Applications you distribute to end users.
If the Licensee acts on behalf of a company, the license covers that one named individual's use only. Additional team members require additional licenses.
The line between Template and Application
Clause 1 is the explicit exception to the no-redistribution rule: an Application's compiled, bundled, or running form is permitted to be public - the Template's source is not. If the thing you're distributing is the Template itself (as starter code, boilerplate, or training material), that's not allowed.
Ownership
The Template is licensed, not sold. All right, title, and interest in the Template - including all intellectual property rights - remain with the copyright holder. No rights are granted other than those expressly set out here.
Third-party components
The Template depends on and integrates with third-party software (Convex, TanStack, Better-auth, Dinachi UI, and others). Those components are licensed under their own terms, which apply independently. You are responsible for complying with them.
No warranty
THE TEMPLATE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NONINFRINGEMENT.
Limitation of liability
IN NO EVENT SHALL THE COPYRIGHT HOLDER BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES, OR OTHER LIABILITY, WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT, TORT, OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM, OUT OF, OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE TEMPLATE OR THE USE OR OTHER DEALINGS IN THE TEMPLATE.
Termination
This license terminates automatically if you breach any term. On termination you must destroy all copies of the Template in your possession. Rights already granted to end users of Applications you distributed under clause 1 survive termination.
Governing law
This license is governed by the laws of the Licensor's country of residence, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
